Children Playing

Child Safety Tips:
From the Northwood Community Apartments brochure "Keeping it Clean and Safe"

  1. Young children and toddlers should never be left at home alone, or left to play alone in your yard, even for a short time.
  2. Never leave young children unattended in second-story rooms with open windows.
  3. Do not allow children to climb on windows and/or push on window screens. Screens are primarily intended to keep pests out. They are not designed to withstand the weight of a child.
  4. Never allow children to use a wading or swimming pool without constant adult supervision. Never leave wading pools containing water unattended.
  5. Do not allow children to play in or near parking lots/roadways.
  6. Keep all household poisons and medicines in their original, labeled, child-resistant containers and out of reach of children.
Did you know... Ann Arbor is rated one of the best places in the country to raise children!
