Security Deposit

A sum of up to one and a half month's rent that is paid in advance to the landlord to cover potential damages, unpaid rent, and utility bills. The sum, minus charges accrued by the tenant, should be returned within 30 days of the termination of occupancy. The security deposit is fully described in the Security Deposit Act.
